This International Women’s Day I was so proud to be a volunteer photographer for the 10th annual 8M Women’s Strike. This year’s slogan was "Care Beats Hate. Our Love Melts Ice". I felt it in every sung along lyric, every written message, and every passionate speech. Women hold communities together. NYC is a city built on migrant work and its residents truly care for each other.

Protest starting from Foley Square marching all the way to Greenwich Village in opposition to ICE, the current presidency, and the shootings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti. Favorite chants are "Fuck you Donald New York hates you" and "Whose streets? Our Streets"

Twin Social hosts crafty events around the city. They have a very soft, organic direction, so I try and capture that with emphasis on image composition. They take great care to set/select decorations, so I focused on framing as many of the different elements at once. I also focus on the interaction of the guests with the activity. I do take guest photos, but due to the nature of Twin Social's instagram vision, I focus more on the art created/interaction with the elements provided.
